Which print option is right for me?

Just call us and we can help you choose the right solution in terms of design, size and print method. Once we understand your needs and what you hope to achieve, we will make it easy for you.

How do I know the proper layout and size my designs need to be?

The easiest way is to give us a call and let us know what you want to achieve. We can lead you in the right direction, give you all the details and dimensions you need, and offer you support to ensure you achieve the best outcome at a competitive price…or let us make it easy and design it for you.

What format do my files need to be?

We can accept most file formats, but prefer PDF. We also prefer that final artwork is created in InDesign, if possible. You can email us your files, send them on USB or we can also accept large files via Dropbox. Please give us a call if you want to talk about the options for transferring your files.

My logo or artwork files are too low-res, too small, or too old and tired to result in good print – what can you do?

We can easily re-draw your logo or artwork to deliver a great print result. If your logo or branding needs a “freshen up”, we’re happy to submit a few alternatives for you to consider as well. We have helped many customers refresh their brand image in order to reflect their school’s “personality” and communicate their message more effectively.

We don’t have very good photos to use in our marketing – can you help?

No photos, no problem! We can help take great photos that you can use in lots of ways. Our photographers can come out and take promotional images of your school and your students to use in any of your marketing material or communications. We consult with you about the features you want to showcase and the way you hope to use the images, and then you receive all the promotional images on a DVD for use in your newsletters, promotions, etc. We can also use those new images in any of the products we are designing or printing for you.

Can I meet with your sales or design staff directly?

We will work with you to achieve the outcome you are aiming for, whether it’s face to face or on the phone. Your Client Manager can discuss your print needs face to face, and you can call our Print team in Sydney at any time. Our print and design staff are available for meetings at our Head Office in Brookvale or we can talk to you via Skype or in a teleconference, if that’s easier. We’ll make sure the right people are in the room in order to deliver the right result for you!

Can you help with mail outs and direct marketing via email?

We can help you with all your marketing, whether it is creating a digital piece for you to email to your contacts, or taking your variable data and creating direct marketing pieces that we email out to your contacts lists. We can also handle your hard copy marketing mail outs, if that makes things easier for you. We’re happy to work with you to create and deliver all your marketing material in whatever format works best for you.

I have found an identical product at a great price. Can you match the price on this product?

Yes, we can! Our price match guarantee means that once you confirm the identical product’s price via catalogue, quote or website (including delivery fees and or exchange rates) advancedlife will make every effort to beat any competitor’s price.

The print product that you are comparing needs to be comparable in the print process used to create that product and in paper stock quality.

Can I change or cancel my print order?

Once you have placed your order it can be changed or cancelled at any time right up until you receive proofs to check and approve. Once you have approved the proofs, you are unable to change or cancel your order. Just call us and we will do what we can to help.

When I re-order, will my product be exactly the same?

That depends, do you want it to be the same? When you re-order a job, you can pick whether you want us to use the same files you sent us previously or the same design we created for you and the outcome will be identical. If you want to make some minor adjustments to the content or the format, then we can help make those changes and will send you a new set of proofs to check and approve. Whether re-ordering or making minor adjustments, due to the constantly fluctuating price of paper, we will always send you a revised quote for your consideration.
